Floating Flange Concept
Meca-Inox uses a unique captive floating ring assembly to secure the body to its flanges. This design provides good sealing by isolating the effects of potential pipe connection misalignment. It also makes positioning of the valve to its ideal position simple.
Cost Effective
No need to dismantle the valve for welding the nipples into the pipe work. This significantly reduces the risk of damage to the valve sealing components. Installation takes 30% less time because slight misalignments are compensated for in the flanges. The central body section can be removed for servicing or replaced as a unit without the added cost of replacing mating flanges. Warehouse stocks can be streamlined as the valve components held for spares need only be the central body section, not the whole valve.
Packaging
The Meca-Inox packaging system keeps its contents clearly identified, safe and well protected. The valves are packed in recyclable packaging in a colour coded sleeve (red for stainless steel, blue for carbon steel). The products are clearly laid out and components are retained clear of contamination during assembly.
3 Piece ball valves
The PS4 series 3 piece valves are available with a range of ends including butt weld ends, socket weld ends, BSP & NPT thread, orbital welding, tri-clamp and compression fittings. This range includes the unique floating flange design and kit box packaging. They are available in sizes 8mm to 200mm, full bore or partial bore and double chevron gland packaging.
2 piece ball valves
The F2S 2 piece ball valves are available in 15mm to 150mm size and are approved to EN558 version 1 or 28 (long), or version 27(short). They are also fully approved to Fire Safe standard BS6755 Part 2.
1 piece ball valves
The RBS range of ball valves are available on 8mm to 80mm sizes, full bore or reduce bore designs.
Actuators Meca-Inox offers a full range of pneumatic actuators from Tru-torq or Trevisan.
Sampling Valves
Meca-Inox manufactures a full range of ball type sampling valves through its partner company called AB6 in France.
Pigging Systems
Meca-Inox/AB6 pigging systems are available in 15mm to 300mm size. The unique design enables full product recovery with no dead spaces. |
